Research Facilities
The Department of Chemistry is located within the Natural Sciences Complex. The building provides more than 160,000 square feet of modern research space, is home to over two dozen faculty-directed research groups, and houses a full complement of modern instrumentation and support facilities. The Department is also in close proximity to the central Science and Engineering Library containing millions of books, journals, and technical reports. A significant portion of the journal collection is available electronically on and off campus back as far as the early 1800's. See the UB Library Resources section below.
